    Something is wrong with Batty...

*apologizes for being inactive* I have been extremely busy with school and have not had much time to get on RO. Anyway, enough of me, now the reason for the topic... We had a death in our family and had to travel out-of-state, our (human) rabbit friend watched and took care of the buns for us...

    Got a holland lop=)

Yesterday we got a black holland lop named Benji (tattoo # is BEN). No pictures sadly, lol but I think he has cage aggression? When you stick your hand into his cage, he runs up and bites you. I know some people have experienced this before, so I'd figure I would ask on here:). And for those...

    Went to showmanship this morning

I was really nervous about using Batty in showmanship, as I had had trouble flipping him over (I put his ears between my fingers, that never worked). But, surprisingly...I got reserve champion! (out of 16). I am sooo happy. The way I flipped him over is holding both the ears with your index and...

    Batty ate a dogwood leaf...

He ate like 1/2 a (flowering?) dogwood tree that we just planted this spring, will he be okay? is dogwood poisonous?

    Confused about wood

I would really like Batty to have something to chew on/play with that would last a little while,as he is outside and I don't get to spend as much time as I'd like to with him. I got a ball that had like the thing the red rabbit on the banner has on his/her ears with grass sewn into it, at first...

    Blueberries...

Today we went to the farmers market (and looked at all the beautiful flowers we couldn't have in Minnesota *sigh*) and I bought some blueberries (yes, for Batty:biggrin2:). But I have no clue whether the have pest/herbicide on them but if they do, would washing them off be enough to get it off...

Geesh I'm asking alot of "is this safe?" questions...

Okay, I hear dried outpinecones are safe for buns, but are their certain trees that have/bear pinecones that are bad? We have a blue spruce, and a...what looks like a green spruce, but I don't even think that is a tree (i.e. I have no clue what the tree is) but both have pinecones on them and I...

Is cotton yarn safe for buns?

I want to make sure, if it is then I will be making toys for my *future*buns. If not, I'll keep them away from it. Thanks, Maiz

    Oh, the joy of moving...

We've been in our new house for 2 weeks today, busy unpacking, breaking down boxes, stuffing paper into boxes, putting stuff up etc. etc. So last night, my dad was unpacking a bok at 10:00 (pm, mind you! why, I don't know) and my mom finished unpacking it as he went to bed. She would have...

    Bye Sadie and Rascal (II)

Yesterday (did not get to get on the computer yesterday) we gave Sadie and Rascal to a friend of ours (mom said we could not keep Rascal, and we all decided Sadie would be happier at this home) whom, spoils her animals (2 horses, 2 dogs, at least 2 cats, maybe 1 more). She would probably be...

    Prayers needed for moving...

We were going to move in the next 2 or 3 weeks to a house up in Minnesota but, the seller kept delaying the sale and my mom and dad decided that we would not get the house:(. There is a good, and a bad side to this. Bad: We have to search around for a house again. Good: The town that we were...

    Roren has passed the bridge...

Before anyone reads this please know that if I could have our rabbits inside, I would but we have no space and we're moving so it is not an option at the moment. I was chatting with somebunny at (in my time) 10:00 pm, she had to go, so I went upstairs with the rest of the family. We were...

    Blackberry leaves question...

I heard/read that it is okay to feed your rabbit(s) blackberries and their leaves. So I went to go get some this morning and found out that there were (on the spine on the back of the leaf) thorns...much smaller than the ones on the stem but, would it hurt the rabbits at all?:? Thanks, maisy
