You should take your bun to the vet asap. If it is an infection it could spread to the lymphatic system and cause a lot more than just a bump on her foot. I'm not trying to scare you but my Rabbit had to go to the vet yesterday for the same thing. They gave her an antibiotic and told me to keep...

Thanks guys! The vet gave her Baytril...not my favorite antibiotic because it causes appetite loss but I'm going to make sure she gets yogurt every day to help replenish the bacteria in her stomach. She doesn't seem to be in any pain or anything so I think she'll be fine :)I'll keep you updated!

I took her to the vet and he said it is an abcess. He gave her some antibiotics and said to keep it drained. Poor Rabbit. :sad:

Rabbit has a pink blister like thing on her foot and I was reading another post about a rabbit with the same thing. I can see that it was pus in it and looks like its about to bust. Does it look like an abcess?

I'm glad to hear your bun is doing better! I just went through something similar with Rabbit and my vet said to give her fresh pineapple juice occasionally as a preventative of any GI problems.Just thought I'd share this with you so maybe we can keepour buns healthier from now on! Much love to...

Sounds like you shouldn't be too worried. Just keep an eye out for anything else unusual. :shock:
