    My New Bunny

So cute, I am happy for you.

    Moving

I know, I am having a real problem with that. He's not going to know why I did it and it's so hard to let him know that I did what I did out of love. I want him to know that I care about him and that I am not abandoning him but allowing him to be happier (and hopefully less lonely.) I am so...

    Moving

I know, it' s going to be really hard getting used to life without him. The last few days have been really hard because he's been extra affectionate with me. Every moring I wake up to him nuzzling my hand. Life is going to be different with out him, that's for sure.

    Moving

Contrary to the title, I am not moving, but Mufasa is. I just can't handle keeping up with him and my classes or afford him any longer. So after my mother volunteered to take him, my first thought was of Amanda (My ex with whom I got Mufasa.) who still comes by to see him. My mother lives 2.5...

    trancing rabbits?????

Yeah, I just learned to trance Mufasa recently,it's nice, but I don't think he likes it. Mufasa really hatesto be picked up in general. I am trying to teach him thatit's ok and that I am not picking him up to hurt him...but rather tohelp him and to pet him. My neighor's rabbit, Scruffs, likesto...

    Free roaming!

Mufasa is fully free range, but he has beenchewing everything. I want him to be happy, and that is why I kept him,so he can be let out. I have shut him in twice since Amandamoved out. If bun is bad, I spray things with Bitterapple. He is bad about wires, because he is sneaky asheck. When I was...

    adding vanilla extract to water

I use bio-odor and it works just fine.Infact, I think Mufasa perfers it that way, cause when I don't add it,he drinks less water...it's odd.

    Is whinning normal?

Mufasa can be a little grunt box. If Ipick him up, he lets me know he isn't happy, or if I come into a roomand touch him with my foot, he will grunt. He's been a littlemoody lately, and he won't really let me pet him, but once he demandsto be petted, he can't get enough...I just wish he wanted...

    grumpy bun

I like that, it's very poetic. I might say that to her when she says he hates her again. Er, I might have for got to mention Lola is a chihuahua pug mix.

    grumpy bun

Yeah, she loves him, but I think as of late she thinks he hates her. I have a 2 bedroom apartment. So I have room for one rabbit, I told Awesum that if I don't end up with a room mate, that I would be more than happy to give bun a whole room. I think that she will take care of him, but I...

    grumpy bun

So Awesum and I have broken up, and it was mutual, we are still friends. She will be moving out, and my issue is bun. He acts very grumpy toward her, at least in her opinion. He grunts at me too, I just blow it off and pick him up anyways. My biggest issue is this, when she moves out, I am...

    Running Away

When I pick up Mufasa he kicks and grunts and hates it until I put him against my body and let him know he's not in the air. Once I start to pet him, he calms down and love it, but as soon as I set him down he just runs off.

    Mufasa meets Lola

Amanda's aunt's dog was pregnant and had puppies6 weeks ago, and now we have one. Her name is Lola she is a 6week old Jack Russel-Chihuahua/Pug mix. And apparently Mufasaisn't happy with her. According to Amanda, when she sniffedbun through his cage, he grunted and then lunged at her, running...

    Velma is now Mufasa

Well this explains some of his actions andpersonality. Mufasa doesn't warm up to men very well he hasalways warmed up to girls very well. And that random spurt ofthumping and freaking out. I guess we must have had either afemale or male bunny smell, and he was getting teritorial orexcited. I am...

    Velma is now Mufasa

When Amanda brought our bun back from the vet,she told me that she had news. Velma, our beloved baby girlwas actually a boy! We just had him fixed, but it was still ashocker to find out that a bunny we had been calling girl for so longturned out to be a male. I am not trusting the opinion...
