thank you Karen. My dad went to pets at home today and got some vet bed for her and i have some old towels and sheets to use as well but the fleeces would probably be better.xx

Bless Harley, being such a good husbun :).

Sounds as if Floppy is doing well, but I'm pleased they are keeping her in, just to make sure there's no problem with the swelling.

Hoping for a speedy recovery.

no news yet this morning. I rang the vets earlier this morning and they are very busy. Hopefully i'll hear something soon but i guess she must be ok otherwise i would have heard.
I am going to ask the vets today if they can keep Floppy in until monday afternoon. I am meeting Hannah at Gatwick airport on Sunday night and staying over. My Mum was going to look after the buns but she told me last night that she doesn't feel comfortable with that in case anything goes wrong. I'm hoping to visit Floppy and Harley today cos i am missing them badly.:(

heard from the vet, Joe, a little while ago. Floppy is doing really well and she could have come home today but I explained that i was away on sunday evening and he agreed that it was in her best interests to stay in. I am going up (with a massive dandelion!) at 5pm to see them and see her x-ray as well. It will be hard to leave them again but she is in the bestest care possible.
I am so pleased with the care our vet has and how well Harley and especially Floppy are being looked after.

I have just got back from seeing Floppy and Harley and they both look so well. Harley gave me a lick and rolled over on to his back and flopped.:D Floppy was so interested in the dandelion. She looked as though there is nothing wrong, apart from the bald patch. The vet even said they have been out hopping around on the floor, Floppy on three legs as it is still painful for her. I saw the x-rays of when she had the break and now that it is fixed. Their bones are so delicate and thin. It's amazing what they have done for her.:goodjob

We are all lucky to have Harley!!!! He's a proper husbun.
Can't wait til monday now. I really can't believe how well she looks.
thank you so much Tracy for putting me in touch with such good vets.

:D Absolutely no problem at all. I'm just glad you listened and took her there because whilst some do listen, others ignore me completely. Thank good ness you weren't one of those. Not sure any other vets in the area (with the exception of the specialist at Christchurch) could have done anything of any use.

my sister managed to take a pic of her eating her dandelion and sent it to Hannah.
I think a lot of vets would amputate straight away. I have to give Flops the chance to make herself better. Also on the 20th August it is her first gotcha day :D, and Minstrels second birthday, I think she will be spoilt on that day!!

Woohoo! So glad she's doing well with her husbun and dandelion treats!
