Do you give him any pellets or hay?

My bunny will growl like a dog. He has been raised with 3 chihuahuas and a lab so I don’t know if he sounds like them or if it is a normal rabbit noise. My other bun never made any noise at all.

My rabbit Munchkin Joe has a big fenced in yard to play in when we are home. He has a big 2story hutch that he sleeps in and has food in. A smaller fence is around it. He has dug tunnels all over our yard. He loves it!! But I have a problem. Ants get in his food and tonight my daughter had left...

I wrapped it in a paper towel and held it tight for a loving time and after about 15 minutes it stopped bleeding. I packed it good with flour and put both bunnies in desperate cages for the night. He cleaned it and today he seems fine.

Wow the vet said they couldn't tell until around 3-4 months and they couldn't get pregnant until 8 months!!

How old are they when you are able to tell? My babies will be 4 weeks tomorrow and I do not want any more babies. It has been a wonderful experience having these 2 but I can't have more. Also how old are they when they can get pregnant?

Ladysown--i give my bunnies pieces of apples too, but I've always heard that apple seeds are poisonous. That might be something to check on. I'll try to remember to see if I can find an answer on that tomorrow when I am more awake. It would be great to be able to give them that to gnaw on.

OK I'll try more hay and less pellets for a day or two and cut out all fruits. I was giving them a few pieces of apple, a piece of banana and some spinach. I had been giving them kale for a few days until I read they shouldn't have too much of that. What are the best veggies to give bunnies...
