    my 2 bunnies ignore me

often you will find that two bonded rabbits will have little interest in the human as they have each other.

Do you think my Lionhead would do well in shows?

Hi, what you have by the looks of it is a single mane, which unfortunately would not do well at shows. How old?

Seeking advice on a wire floor

hi, yes I have what I call the staging that I use for my lion lops at shows, but it's a thinner and smaller guage and is fixed to wood batens in 2 oblong halves for when I show them, which I know would give under the weight of a larger rabbit. I'll take a look at the dimensions you gave, thanks x

Seeking advice on a wire floor

Hi All my rabbits are outdoors in solid wood hutches. However, I have one show buck who is a dirty little thing and likes to dig and pace in his poo (which as he digs is scattered everywhere) Even cleaning out very frequently doesn't stop him getting dirty! He is a white rabbit...

    What are the chances?

I read the posts and you didn't mention an age I think? But some bucks will try before they are sexually mature, with all the sounds/falling off etc. Some of my does will start acting differently within a day of mating, others if you didn't know better would act the same until just before they...

    Gender and genetics

I think it's just random. I know one exhibitor who has a sooty fawn doe (tort?) that has only ever produced one buck in all her matings to different sires.

Sometimes it can tickle a whisker if it's touching one.

Hi They are eating well now and gaining weight although a couple are still quite thin, thanks for asking. I really thought I'd lose them all except one. I would post a photo but don't know how to?

Lump of chalk, like you might dig up out of chalky ground..lots of my buns have it in there cage, about the size of a large fist or bigger. They love to dig on it, chew it..some have such fun that they end up a ball shape from working on the piece and roll them about too.

    Help with fur mites?

In the UK we have http://www.vet-medic.com/pd_Vet-medic+Antiparasite+Mite+Drops+15ml_VETM7.htm which is very good value (even against other brands) do you not have anything similar?

    Picky eater!

If I have a picky eater I just leave the bowl until it's empty..esp as the pellets are the most nutritionally balanced bit of the feed... they always eat it and never starve.

New to rabbits, have question about willow branches

Not sure about the leaves but the bark (young fresh growth preferred) is great for them to strip away at. Read somewhere that it contains a pain killing ingredient, don't know the facts on that 'tho. Mine love Ash twigs the best.
