Thanks for bumping this thread! My Dutch, Nibbles (a she) is very vocal when she's happy and/or playing with me. I can't describe the sound, except to say that it's a bit of a grunt and a bit of a honk, with a little beeping thrown in. I guess you're got me prepared for "boing" sounds now.

My bunnies have never made a sound, with the exception of Noonoo, who will snort when he's p*ssed. When I looked after my friend's bunnies, however, I was actually woken up by the sound of one of them cooing. :shock: It was kinda like the noise Guinea pigs make, the 'OOh OOh OOh' thing. It was really loud, and very eerie! I was stumbling along in the dark, trying to figure out why the bunny was making this noise... I think it was because he was lonely, or he missed his mum. :?
