I'm a huge fan of the CW's series "Supernatural." Is anyone else on here one as well?

What do you guys think is going to happen in the finale?

I only caught one episode at work and I want to buy it on DVD. Spoil it for me!

What was the episode you saw about? Was it a newer one?

I have both Season 1 & 2 on DVD. They're awesome! I'm kinda upset though that Season 3 has been so short because of the writers strike.

The next new episode is on tonight on the CW at 11:30PM CST. Because of baseball :grumble: it's on later tonight. But the next episode looks funny...apparently the Winchesters come upon a ghost reality show, ie like "Ghost Hunters." Should be a good funny, light-hearted episode before the season finale, which I have a feeling is going to be brutal.

Tonight's episode is called "Ghost Facers"

Then there are 3 left: "Long Distance Caller," "Time is on my side," and the finale is called "No Quarter." The description for "No Quarter" says it takes place on Dean's last day. :sigh: I sure hope not. But, they also said there is going to be a HUGE shocker so I'm excited!

Is it back on?

I LOVE Supernatural. I'm wondering if the dad is going to somehow come back to help Dean find a way to circumvent the deal. They keep saying how even demons were once human, and the dad came back once & wasn't evil. I keep thinking the dad is going to pull one off......

There CAN'T be Supernatural without Dean!

Yep back on starting Tonight!! So excited!!

I agree with you about that, and it seems from reading a few spoilers on the next few episodes, you're idea may be on the right track about his Dad. But, what if Dean did turn into a Demon? Could be interesting.

But, my thing is, if Sam helps Dean, wasn't part of the deal is that Sam would die again?

There are so many things they have to answer this season...

1) what's up with Bella? I'm sure if they had more time they would address it more but come on!
2) what's up with the demon Lilith? She just showed up at the end of the last episode and that was it.
3) Are Bobby and Ellen going to come back to help Dean?

I agree that there can't be a Supernatural without Dean. I swear, I'm 25 and such a fan girl it's sick...and he's my fav. I can't help myself. ;)Plus, some of the best parts of the show are the funny moments between him and Sam. Could you imagine if Sam was alone? It would just be too angsty and brooding. Dean is the comic relief that makes it believable in some respects.

I agree - it would be too dark with just Sam - plus, isn't there that underlying storyline that he (Sam)is destined to be the new Yellow Eyes or something?

We NEED Dean! I don't think I would like a demon Dean - the last episode, where they showed Dean what he would be like as a demon, was too sad for me.
OOO I'm excited to see what is going to happen!!

The episode I saw at the end alittle girl came up and said to the people she was lillith than white.

Ok, then you saw the last episode before the newest one last night.

Did anyone watch lasts nights? I thought it was ok. It was lighthearted and funny, but didn't really have anything to do with the whole storyline that's been happening this season. And now we get to the last 3 episodes.

I REALLY hope Dean stays. I mean, he's gonig to because Jensen Ackles signed on again for next season,...but I really don't want him to turn into a demon.

And Eileen, yes Sam was supposed to be the one to take over after Yellow-eyes. That's why Lilith was after them in the first place.

Also, in the season finale when Yellow-eyes was killed and Dean made the deal to bring Sam back (at the crossroads), Yellow-eyes said "how do you know what got brought back is 100% Sam."

It's getting more and more interesting...

I taped it. I am up at Cornell University for a conference this weekend, so I won't get to watch it until Monday night...

I'll write back after I watch it, sorry to make you wait!

Aaaaahhh! The dad just called Dean.....

I know! It was creepy wasn't it! I miss John on the show...he was really good.

Anyways I heard a lot of people didn't like the episode. However, I have to say I adored the last episode of "Supernatural." We finally saw Dean scared and admitting it. Who wouldn't be if you were weeks away from Hell? It was heartbreaking to see Dean be so desperate. I especially felt for him when he was waiting for his Dad to call on the phone. He really thought his Dad had the answer for him.

Seriously, I was sitting there next to my hubby trying to hold back tears after Dean went after 'the demon' and found out he wasn't. It was like the world crashed around him and his hope started to die. (I didn't want to cry in front of my hubby because he already thinks I'm too crazy about this show...but so what, right?) Was it bad that I just wanted to jump in the scene and hold him and tell him it's ok....even though it may not be? Oh man, my heart was breaking.

But I was kinda confused that it moved very fast. Like Sam figured out it was a Crocotta and how to kill it instantly. WTF. Usually it takes a whole episode. And why did the Crocotta die when he was impaled? Don't they have to use a certain kind of metal or something? And how did he feed after the people kill themselves? Did he just show up at their houses?

I also have to admit the whole use of technology to induce suicide was a scary thought. Plus, the whole computer IM deal really scared me. That may be because I actually had a real-life experience with that when I was in college. I lived above the 'haunted room' my junior year (a nun committed suicide and it was an old convent). I'd come in my room and my stereo would be on but would be muted. My lights would turn on by themselves. My tv would turn on randomly. And the scariest thing was my computer, not just my monitor, would turn on and off by itself and all hours. This accompanied by my stuff being moved around my room, being tucked in to my sheets and comforter while I was asleep so tight that I had to struggle to get out, AND the room smelling sickeningly like roses even though it was the 4th floor was enough for me. Eventually though, it stopped, mostly after I acknowledged whoever/whatever was there.

Overall though, I really enjoyed LDC. I'm still wondering though that we still have so many questions unanswered. Where's Bela and what's her secret?
What's up with Lilith?
What's Ruby's deal and why did she lie...or is she?
WHERE'S BOBBY? And Ellen for that matter?

2 more episodes left...:fingers crossed for Dean: Get your tissues ready because these next 2 episodes are going to be angsty as hell. I'm already feeling anxiety from it...and a tv show shouldn't do that to anyone!

Best lines of the episode:

"Yeah, Clark! That's what happens when you mess with the phone company, dillweed." (Stewie)

"You're all so connected, but you've never been so alone." (The Crocotta)

When Dean asks ifa Crocotta is a sandwich (LMAO)

The line about the porn site "platinum membership, worth every penny" (fantastic!)

Dean's line about Lanie being jailbait and the reference to Chris Hanson, who hosts "To Catch a Predator" on Dateline.

"So you two were talking about the case?" "No. We were actually talking about our feelings and then our favorite boy bands."

"Dad?"

"What did he sound like?" "Like Oprah. Dad, like dad. What do you think?"

"After everything, you’re still just going on blind faith." "Yeah, well maybe, you know maybe that’s all I got OK?"

"My a** is too sweet to let out of sight." (Ok, I didn't realize I said "Amen to that" while I was watching but apparently I did and my hubby just turned to me and shook his head...LOL)

"I can’t expect dad to show up with some miracle at the last minute. I can’t expect anybody to you know? The only person that can get me out of this is me." "And me." "And me? What? Deep revelation, havin’ a real moment and that’s what you come back with? 'And me?'" "Do you want a poem?" "Moment’s gone. Unbelievable."

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! He's dead!!!!

That was just too sad! Poor Sam...poor Dean..... he was hooked like ina butcher shop at the end. :(

I can't be this sad until September... lalena, how are they going to bring him back? He has to come back, and I don't wanna see him asa demon.

What a sad line, when Sam asked him what he is supposed to do, and Dean said "Keep on fighting demons".

Do you think they will make Dean a demon, who will have to fight Sam?

Oh I just can't take this!

So what powers does Sam have that Ruby was trying to tell him about? He got Lilith so maybe he is going to figure them out on his own. Poor Dean....I hope Sam figures out how tosave him.

:Sigh: Yeah I've been pretty bummed since the finale. Sad, I know...but Dean's my favorite. And I have a feeling Hell is going to get worse for him.... Like right now, he's alone and isolated/vulnerable which are some of his greatest fears. But what if in Hell he had to watch versions of people he loved killed over and over. And let us not forget that there are a lot of Demons who hate the Winchesters. Poor, poor Dean. :(

Well, Jensen signed on for Season 4 so he will be back. As for how, I have a few theories: 1) Ruby is in Hell or somewhere where she may be able to help him (2) Sam obviously has some power, maybe he could resurrect him (3) Lillith may be willing to free Dean if Sam threatens her (4) I think it may have something to do with that scary, creepy immortal dr. that they didn't kill but merely buried in the previous episode. I believe they also buried him with this book.

And if I were writing the show, I wouldn't have Dean come back as a Demon. I think it would be better to see him messed up from Hell as a human. Or not remember much but keep getting flashbacks of it. I think it would change his mind about his life and it's meaning. So hopefully he'll come back as a human....and hopefully in that same cute, awesome body of his...:p

Sam...Sam is interesting. Ruby is coming back next Season so I think he's going to figure out what to do. I'm not sure what Sam's powers are but I think it might have something to do with power swapping/draining and much more on top of that. I rewatched NRFTW on youtube and when Lillith (via Ruby's body) kisses Sam, there's a very faint whooshing sound. Here's a [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDQCcD9MC0o]link.[/ame]I think maybe he might have drained or swapped powers. I just wish he could have grabbed that knife faster! Arrgh! And one thing to point out too is Ruby said Sam wasn't desperate enough at the beginning of the episode. After having to watch Dean and ripped up by the hellhounds, that's when he used some of his power. Maybe he has to almost unconsciously use it.

But man all the actors did a GREAT JOB! And yes, I cried....twice. I rewatched the episode the next day and bawled. I think I was more in shock the first time. That last scream for Sam in hell...brutal.

But, I was glad to see Bobby again and to hear ROCK again! Awesome Bon Jovi part!

"So hopefully he'll come back as a human....and hopefully in that same cute, awesome body of his..."

Hmmm, that's for sure!
Poor Sam has had a bad season; had to watch Dean die over & over in that one episode, and then had to watch the hellhounds kill him. And I agree, the Hell thing has just started - it's going to get much worse.
I give the writers credit for actually doing it, much as I was hoping for the Hollywood ending where something happens to save him.

It gives us something to hope for. Perhaps Dean'll come back as one of those humans who never crosses over.
Also, why have we never seen Papa Winchester come back as a demon. I kep thinking he's in the hopper to help Dean.

Off to check You Tube.

Yeah. I'm glad Jensen is going to be back. I think I have an uber crush on him...but you know whatever. I think I'm turning into a stupid fangirl. :p (at 25 and married...lol).

Yeah Sam had a rough year but what about Dean? I can't imagine knowing it's your absolute last year, and to boot, you're off to HELL. Wow, talk about pressure. And although he seemed to handle it OK in the beginning, we saw his facade crumble towards the end of the season. Poor guy.

And I agree, I also give them credit, although I know Kripke probably likes to torture us fans. I think that any way to get Dean out is going to turn Sam darker. And who knows what he'll come back as. I figure if he comes back with his soul, he'll be able to cross over eventually.

I'm really curious about next season, which is supposed to give us some info on the 6 episodes we were deprived from the writers strike, which were supposed to touch more on Sam and on their Mom and whatever her deal was. And next season is supposed to be all about the brothers' relationship. So, I'm guessing with Dean messed up big time from Hell and Sam turning more and more evil, it should be awesome.

And we don't see Papa Winchester much because he escaped from Hell via the Devil's Gate in "All Hell Breaks Loose Part 2." So, he crossed over. However, I'm still not surebut maybe he can help Dean in some way. But that seems too easy. I just got this inkling Sam

The third season starts all over again starting this Thurs. I may watch it again to tie me over till Sept!! How can I wait.

Oh and I had a funny thought today...what if Ruby and Dean come back, but only they jump into eachother's bodies!! I think Dean could have too much fun being in a woman's body. LMAO!

I was just thinking this today at lunch!

From what I've read. Dean's gonna spend some time in hell. I would guess they have to take some time to have the boys be apart to see what happens with Sam now that Dean is not hrere. (I bet Dean comes back once or twice as a demon, but I am NOT looking forward to that!). I think Sam is going to get much darker, he's lost his mom, dad and his brother to the dark side.

Eeek! I can't wait...

I love Supernatural! The season finale was quite disturbing. I was in complete shock and horrified. I must admit though... I'm excited to see where the writers are going to take the storyline. :)

Yeah I'm excited too. I can't wait to see how the Winchester brother's interact with each other this season. And I'm really interested in seeing their mother's backstory. :)
