When can I breed my rabbit again?

You can breed back now. Just be sure that you are feeding a quality food, %18 protein is good for does who are bred on a decent schedule. I would just be sure to remove the older kits before she delivers. This is assuming she is in great shape now.

Newborn bunnies being sold- Downtown Los Angeles streets

Sick! That makes me so upset. There is something seriously wrong with people in this world. That one vendor knew what she was doing is wrong, otherwise she wouldn't have any issue talking to reporters. I wonder if they have any remorse for the lives they take.

    Rabbits in Rescue

I will definitely get permission. Thanks for the tip. I know of alot of blogs that do rescue postings, and it does seem to help. Besides I might as well do something with all the postings I come across since I cant adopt them myself.

    Wondering?

I got my bunny off kijiji. I was told she was a sweetheart and all that... She's Bunnicula. She hates being picked up and is *very* territorial. I say go to a shelter. Most are very good at handling their small animals daily. That way you know what you are getting. Updates from volunteers are...

This is why I don't buy from pet stores

TinysMom wrote: No worries, I wouldn't. I learned my lesson. Just curious, why would meat breeding be any different from pet/show breedin practices. This is what I never understood, the animals should still be raised with respect, no matter what the reason for being created.

"The Edmonton Humane Society strongly believes that the pet population in the community should be controlled. That is why spay and neuter surgery is done on all EHS shelter dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, ferrets, and even some rabbits prior to becoming available for adoption." So how do they...

AndersonsRabbits wrote: I think Im getting off topic here, but I needed to mention this. I used to raise mice for pets. I was totally against them as snake food. Years later, and years ago I was planning on raising rats as food/pets. I researched the most humane ways to care for and then kill...
