I have my bunny on Purina Gourmet Rabbit food. All she seems to eat out of it is the fruits and nuts. She doesn't touch the pellets. What should I do? And should I be concerned?

I wouldn't put the cage directly outside. I would get a building of some type and put it in there. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me what is lino and where I can find it? I was thinking some type of rubber matting, but if the bunny chews it I would think it would be toxic or not good for their systems.

I've been driving myself CRAZY! Everyone seems to have their own opinions about the flooring you should put in rabbit cages. So what do you think? I'm building a cage. Wood frame. Wire sides. Up off the ground, pretty long and I will split it into sections. Just like one long row of cages...

Wow, I really like the replies and making me understand a WHOLE LOT. The breeder told me the rabbit developed sore hocks from keeping him on a wire floor, which rubbed off the fur from his feet. I'm definetely NOT going to get him. Again all the replies were great!

Thanks. I really wish there were breeders around my area.There are some within a traveling distance, but I don't know much about them to determine if they breed quality rabbits. I'm from the horse industry and know there are good breeders that breed for "bettering" the breed vs. backyard...
