question about feeding

I have my bunny on Purina Gourmet Rabbit food. All she seems to eat out of it is the fruits and nuts. She doesn't touch the pellets.

What should I do? And should I be concerned?

If your feed has extras in it like the furit and nuts, then it's not a good feed. What you want is a feed that is nothing BUT pellets. Also you will need to check the label to see what kind of protein, fats, etc it has in it. She will probably be mad at you for switching her feed over, but stick with it, the way she is eating now won't get her the nutrition she needs.

Switch her gradually over to a food with no treats in it. The pellets should only contain pellets, no bit of dried fruit, nuts or seeds.

Any food change should be done gradually. She may not like the idea of switching, I know some members have had troubles getting their buns to eat healthier.

okay thanks for the replies. i will do that. Can you recommend a good food?

I'm going to have to order it. There is not alot of options around here for me to choose from.
