    Re: Pregnancy

Wow, I didn't know that and it's extremely helpful! I think you may have just solved my problem! Huge thanks to you, naturestee. Problem solved! (Thanks to everyone else, too!!)

    Re: Pregnancy

They're dutches. They'll be about 12 1/2 weeks by the time I get them, then a week or so after that they're going to be fixed. Add a couple more months and I'll bond them. Sorry about the math stuff-up, I did it in a rush. I'll ask him to divide the carrier, seeing as how they are $60 AUD...

    Re: Pregnancy

I'm getting my buns interstate- It's a 4 hour flight, then add about 3 hours in the luggage area and another 2 or so getting them home. The thing is, I'm getting both a boy and a girl, the same age, who are brother and sisters. My plan is to separate them, get them fixed, and THEN bond them...

    Things that are really ANNOYING!

Where do I even begin? :P 1. People putting Band-Aids on the silliest little things. If you get a papercut, "Oh, here, let me get you a band aid..." I'm like, "Lady, chill. It's barely one fifth of a millimeter deep." 2. Reptitive songs. "You talk, and talk, and talk, and talk, and...

Bonding a neutered male to an unspayed female?

I have photos! Well here's Lupin's photo from when he was at the breeder... And THIS is the girl I'm getting- His sister. :) I think I'm going to name her Tonks. :) As you can see, Lupin isn't really a Tri, but he has some grey on his ears. I'm excited about getting my girl too...

Bonding a neutered male to an unspayed female?

Thanks for the info. If I get another, I'll be getting her from the same breeder. Lupin is a darker tri, and he also has lighter tri's (grey 'brindling' as opposed to black). They would be the same age as he keeps some older ones. Are there issues in bonding a sister to a brother, even...

Bonding a neutered male to an unspayed female?

Thanks for the advice. I didn't know about the whole after-spaying thing. So, I'll get him neutered, get her and get her neutered, wait a while and then introduce them. Sounds good to me. :)

Bonding a neutered male to an unspayed female?

I'm thinking of getting Lupin a friend.... Eventually. He'll be neutered at 12 weeks by a vet that specialises in rabbits. When I bred mice, my best mouse-buddy reccomended her to me (and she still does), so that's where I'm going. He isn't quite that old yet, but when he is... Yeah. ;) I'm...

    Big enough?

That site is GENIOUS! I know just where to look now, and it saves me $200! Thanks for the idea! How big do you think I should make it? I'm going to make one of the open 2-level cages. XD

Where can I find NIC cubes online?

    Big enough?

I'm thinking of getting this cage for my Lupin; http://www.rabbitstop.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=60288&Category_Code=3SuperPetHabitats&Product_Count=8 32”Lx20”Wx21”H w/stand 26”H" He wouldn't be in the cage all day, mind you. He's allowed to run around...

    Stupid stuck up people

Perfect! "Oh? What was that? You think it's funny that my rabbit goes to the bathroom in a litter tray? Hah, say's someone who's dogs have to pee with guidance." :P

    Shipping bunnies as freight?

I think it's reasonably safe enough, right? It's a four-and-a-half hour flight. Sydney - Perth

    I'm at a loss...

Not in Western Australia, I very surely believe. :P How many timothy hay cubes do you get in a bag?

    Shipping bunnies as freight?

Someone recently told me that freighting bunnies was dangerous as they can die of shock and heart attacks. I was wondering if this was true? What have your experiences been with shipping bunnies? Thanks for any help. :) Edit: I meant 'Freighting' bunnies, I forgot the e!

    Hi Everybun!

Thanks for the warm welcome! That's just a photo from my breeder, but yes, that is pretty much him. :) I haven't read the 7th book yet, but I do know that Lupin dies. I found out through one of my friends and was devistated. Haha! ;)

    I'm at a loss...

What a drama! Ok, so. Every pet store in WA sells rabbit pellets in bags, from bulk. There is no nutritional information on the bags, only the price. There are some supermarket brands, but they have high amounts of carrot and added sugars, so I'm not going to buy those! Do you think I...

    Hi Everybun!

Hey all! My name is Nora. I'm a year nine student from Australia, and I have a young dutch bunny named Lupin! I got him from a breeder, and he is a 'tri-color dutch', but he may be a harlequin. I'll try and upload a picture soon so you guys can help me out. Lupin was named after Remus...
