    Does Anyone Know...

Would anyone happen to know if it's legal for me(a Canadian citizen) to bring my bunns to an American vet? I askbecause I live not 5 minute from Chateauguay, NY and I'd like to find avet there (or even in Malone) who will spay / neuter my bunns, insteadof doing it in Canada (where the drive...

    Question About Taking Trips....

You know... that REALLY makes me feel alot better (reading your post). Now I'm not so worried anymore to leavethem alone. I think they will be fine, so long as I leave them enoughfood, and I give them exercise right before I leave and right when Icome home. Melissa TinysMom wrote:

    Question About Taking Trips....

I agree with everyone's points ... I amterrified of leaving the bunns alone - but bringing them along is...well... not a good idea. The reason why I have no one to look afterthem is because we just recently moved to a small town (where the onlyperson I know is my neighbor, and I don't trust her...

    My Buns Don't Like Me!!

I've already checked that - and I'm so afraid ofhurting my poor buns, that I don't think I could bring myself to tryand manipulate them to see their genders. But I was watching when thevet did it. And to be honest... if you ask me, they both look likefemales... But the vet told me this: sexing...

    My Buns Don't Like Me!!

Unfortunately no - that is the only vet for 65miles from my house that deals with rabbits. She seemed ok - and shesaid she has 6 of her own bunns as well. Either way - I plan onbringing them back in 8 weeks (At the end of June - despite what shesaid of waiting until the end of July) and we'll...

    My Buns Don't Like Me!!

I just got back from the vet with my bunns, andI got some good news and some possibly bad news. The good news is, theyare in perfect health, and they are a lot younger than I thought... Ithought 6 months - 1 year, and the vet says no more than 3 or 4 monthsold. Which is good. The bad news is...

    My Buns Don't Like Me!!

I'm not sure exactly how old they are...bringing them to the vet in less than an hour to find out - plus theyare not fixed either (at least not that I'm aware of). I believe theyare between 6 months and a year so I highly doubt they've been fixed.

    My Buns Don't Like Me!!

I'm sure the chewing is they way of saying theywant out. My buns have more toys than my son, lol (ok, well not quite, but they do have a LOT of toys), some are inside toys (cage toys) andsome are outside toys (exercise toys) and yet, they don't play with anyof them anymore.... I will however have...

    My Buns Don't Like Me!!

I don't know whats going on. When I first boughtmy buns they were scared, after a while they warmed up to me and theywould get all jumpy and excited to see me, and when I'd let them out oftheir cage they'd jump on me and let them pet me. Recently I movedtheir cage to a different part of the...

Bringing Friskie & Poopers To The Vet...

On Friday I'm bringing Friskie and Poopers to the vet for their first exam, plus to find out the genders and ages. While I'm there is there any 'standard' questions I should ask the vet? I've never brought buns to a vet before so I don't quite know what to expect. I live in the country so, should...

    Is This Normal?

My buns use their litter box to pee in, but they don't use it to poop in, instead they poop all over the cage floor, but(what grosses me out) is after they pee in the litter box, they then sleep in it... What is that all about? And how do I get them to only poop in their box too? Melissa

    Poo question

My rabbits are doing the same thing. I have however switched their diet recently. They were eating guinea pig food originally (at the pet shop) and when I brought them home I switched them to real rabbit pellets (Martin Mills) and Timothy hay (unlimited amounts), and I've noticed since the...

    Question About Food

I was just cleaning out my buns cage when I happened to look over at the bag of food and realized it says right on the bag to feed it as a sole ration... so does this mean I shouldn't give them hay as an additive(and to play with)? I'm a little confused now. I also wanted to know... I am...

    Best Place For Buns...

I own my ownhouse yes, but I'd rather not put stick tiles down because we are planning on finishing the basement eventually... just not for another10 years or so... lol. I really liked the idea of the floor mats, but I would be worried about my buns chewing it. I was thinking of something...
