    Risks of spaying

I've been calling around the local vets in myarea and all that ones that I call that do specialize in rabbits aretelling me how risky the procedure is, more for females than malesbecause the female surgery is more invasive. I want to get her spayedvery badly, but i'm having a hard time actually...

I might be allergic to Lulu

After reading online and reading some replies,i'm thinking that i'm not allergic to her anymore. It seems like mostpeople allergic to bunnies or other pets have a more "typical"reaction, runny nose, itchy/swollen eyes to varying degrees. Iliterally have hives over 90% of my body.. i'm going to...

I might be allergic to Lulu

I haven't posted in several weeks because i'mfinally able to answer all of my own bunny questions, but this has beengoing on for about 2 weeks. I have been breaking out in awful hivesthat can't be controlled by medicine or anything so far. I'm going toan allergist today (finally, it takes a long...

    She won't let me sleep!!

I was in the same situation as you! I finally got a squirt bottle, and I squirt her feet and say no when she does it.She still does it occasionally, but not as bad anymore, especially if I keep the squirt bottle near her cage at night. She knows I hate it to,because when i'm looking at her she...

My bunny is smarter than me..

She has a wodden thing that hangs from the top of her cage with a bell attached (she loves licking the bell, haha, shes a strange one) and she bites that a lot, and she has some other wood toys, along with a paper towel roll, that she refuses to chew, she puts it in her mouth and hits the cage...

My bunny is smarter than me..

So I got a spray bottle to squirt Lulu (on her feet) when she bites her cage at night. It has worked for the past few weeks, i'll squirt her when she is in the act, but now, she only bites the cage when she knows i'm too far away to squirt her, or if the bottle is near her cage and i'm far away...

    I have questions

I agree with Spring, take her there or the vetto see if they can show you how to do it before you try to on your own. That is what i'm doing for Lulu when I take her to her first vetsappointment!

    Should I get him?

Hmm, I don't really know the anwsers to any ofyour questions, but I decided to post since no one anwsered them yet. From what I have read on here the bunnies need to be able to do 4 hopsin their cage, but I don't know about 2 together, that honestly doesn'tsound like enough room to me, but like I...

    Should I get him?

I think if you want it and you can provide agood home for it, you should get it. It doesn't matter where you gethim from, someone else will if you don't. I don't believe that getting a bunny from a shelter or a petstore iswriting a death warrant for one at a shelter because if you don't...

just went to the pet shop

I bought Lulu a hammock (it was connected byfour rope things to her cage) and she would hop in and out of it duringthe day, but would never stay in it nor sleep in it. I eventually tookit out because she would get mad at it if she would stand under it andhit her head on it, haha.

    Probably isn't appropriate...

I threw all the balloons away, she is not a happy bunny now. Do bunnys normally get this, excited (?) at around 3 months?

    Probably isn't appropriate...

Like I said when they pop they don't break intomany pieces, she popped 2 of them already, they're all on the verge ofdeflating because they are so old, one tiny scratch and it slowlydeflates, in one big piece, so nope, no missing any pieces at all. Andit didn't make a noise it just deflated...

    Probably isn't appropriate...

Ok, so I told ya'll how Lulu decided to hump myfriends guinea piggy, so they can't play together, but she has a newfriend. We have balloons in our apartment that have been there sinceSeptember (not hellium, obviously, lol) and when Lulu was a baby shewas scared of them, but now, she is in love...

Is she old enough to spay?

Thanks JadeIcing! I was annoyed at her because she bit her cage so much that night (FYI,soap works!) so I went out and got her bows, but they have rubberbands, so I couldn't put them onto her ears (ouchies) so when she wouldlay down I would just put it on her head! I called around to Vets...
