    Best Brush for Grooming?

I don't have experience with long-haired or rex coat as well. Well my lop mix is part rex and her fur only seems a little different from my other rabbit's. My rabbits can normally keep themselves clean but when I do their nail clipping or if they are molting I use a baby-hair comb, a soft baby...

    Goodbye, Trix!!!

I saw about her passing on another post and it just brought me to tears. I loved reading about her even if I didn't always comment/chat. She was definitely a special bunny and had a place even in my heart! Binky free Trix!

Do I really need to trim his nails?

bunnyman! trixie is gone? Oh I loved reading about her. Rip trix. About nail trimming- how often have you done it? depending on the rabbit you only really need to do it once or twice a month. One time Chestnut missed a month and they already started to curl, while my late Clover sometimes...

The adventures of Charlie and Chestnut!

Update 5: I am soooo overdue for an update. Charlie has grown so much I can't even recognize her in these pictures! I'd like to start off with saying the move went well. We had some bumps along the way with Charlie and Chestnut, though. It first started with Charlie getting bloat from the move...

A few questions about housing during a move/after.

Hello all :) up until now my two rabbits have been living in 2x3 nic multi story cages. My family is in the process of moving, and my mom told me this is where my rabbits need to live. It is very spacious, and has a light. I plan on removing the door and adding c and c panels going into my room...

Two females living in peace? And homing babies?

I wouldn't say you are going to overboard. These are practically your babies and you are assuring that they go to permanent homes. If they arnt willing to put as much work as you, maybe it isn't a good enough home. It may take longer when you have such criteria, but much more worth it for the...

The adventures of Charlie and Chestnut!

Tauntz: Thank you so much! :sunshine: Faith and Hope sound adorable! I love woolies!! Clover used to get jealous of Chestnut so much even though they had separate play time xD Buns are silly like that ;) Thanks for commenting and following my bunny blog! <3 Update 4: Last night I had to stay...

    Being pet

I have never met a rabbit who loved having their stomach pet or like being put on their backs. I only put my rabbits on their backs to check their bum and clean their nails. Rabbits enjoy it alot more when you pet them on their level instead of picking them up in any way! c:

The adventures of Charlie and Chestnut!

Update 3: The other day I preformed my monthly nail clipping/checked them and their bums. First I did Chestnut, who threw a fit as normal. No scratches this time though! She thumped around her cage a little bit before I broke down and gave her some of her dried banana. Charlie...

Help figuring out why my doe died?

Thank you so much! The water problem has been so big. It is sending alot of people in the area to the ER including me ( had to get my first IV... yay....) I am hoping they get it fixed. This was such a big scare that I plan on switching my buns to bottled water permanently. :/ Either way, I am...

The adventures of Charlie and Chestnut!

fluffybuns: Haha I could see that happening with me! we aren't required to skate, and I'm stuck in drive-thru everyday, so i'm glad I don't have to worry about that. That had to be embarrassing! ----- Update 2: Today I was stuck in the ER, but when I got home I rewarded Chestnut and Charlie...

    A few neutering Qs :)

I bet you guys get these all the time, but I have only really looked into spays and can't find alot of info on neuters (rather then get it done when his testies drop) so I hope you guys don't mind :happybunny: First off, my new rabbit is 5 weeks old. I also have a doe who is much larger then...

What would be a better idea?

I travel quite often and have a really close relationship with my bun (and a okayish with my newest bun) and when you come back they do tend to be a little miffed that you left. But honestly, they get over it in less then a day, and if not they can't stay mad forever (especially if you have a...

The adventures of Charlie and Chestnut!

Lokin4AReason: Thank you! <33 ---- Update 1: Tonight was a big milestone for Charlie and me!:D I went to pet him and he let me, followed by him actually trying to sit and play with me while I cleaned the floor of his cage! He seemed to want to play tag with the little hand broom and even...

In your opinion, where is the best place to live(In US)

Thank you both, and thanks for all the info Watermelons! The west coast sounds really nice, and I also heard Idaho and Washington were nice places to live. I'm definitely looking into somewhere where the summers are wonderful! I'm also curious on how different living in Canada is from the US. I...

    Thoughts on this cage?

I also agree that that cage is too small and a waste of money. My two story c and c cage is much bigger and I paid only 80 dollars to set it up!

Getting my rabbit to tolerate being held

I have never met a rabbit who loved being held, haha. My first rabbit, Clover, absolutely hated it. She would have to be restrained by another person when it came to nail clipping time, and when I had to move her to the carrier or her cage she scratched me up. I think at one point I had to...

In your opinion, where is the best place to live(In US)

Hi all~ I am turning 18 in august and am going to take a two year vet tech program locally. I decided after college that I am going to get a job and save up for my own small farm land (for goats, meat rabbits, chickens and a garden). The problem is, I live in AZ and am miserable here, and I have...
