Do bunnies like being put on their back or having their tummy rubbed?

I have never met a rabbit who loved having their stomach pet or like being put on their backs. I only put my rabbits on their backs to check their bum and clean their nails. Rabbits enjoy it alot more when you pet them on their level instead of picking them up in any way! c:

Flipping a rabbit onto its back can put it into catatonic immobility -- basically it "plays dead." Doing this to a rabbit is controversial. Some say it is fine, while others say it is highly stressful and dangerous.

Rabbits prefer to be pet while they have their feet on the floor. This is also the position (feet on floor) that a rabbit is in when it receives grooming from another rabbit.
