    Transporting Bunnies

    Hi All, I am posting this here as you all have the most experience transporting bunnies. At som point in the very near future, we will be leaving New Hampshire and moving to Ohio, at least an 800 mile ride! Our animals, all of them, are moving with us! This includes our 6 bunnies! I would like...

    Need help...traveling with bunnies...

    I figured since many breeders travel to shows, some great distances, like the National Show, with their bunnies, this would be the best place to post this. We are selling our house and will be moving and very likely from NH to OH, several hundred miles. What is the best, safest way to travel...

    HELP??? Part two

    I posted about our bunny with behavior issues a few weeks ago...after several months of trying to deal with his behavior, asking all of you for help, consulting 2 bunny savvy vets, and 2 bunny experts and with NO SUCCESS, we decided to take the "he is who he is" advice...not forcing him to do...

    Not sure if there is a better place for this....but just having fun with bunnies...taking photos and just wanted to share! We love our bunnies! Reeses is a 7 month old Blue Fawn Harlequin Holland Lop and a "mama's boy" all the way! Pretzel is a 10 week old Chocolate Harlequin Holland Lop...

    New baby not eating Cecotropes :(

    We have a new baby..Pretzel was 8 weeks on Sunday (3/24) and we brought him home that afternoon. Pretzel is acting fine, eating, pooping already peeing exclusively in his litter box after only 3 days. However, I have cleaned up 3-4 spots with what appears to be cecotropes as it is very soft...

    Spraying female-->Spayed-->Non spraying??

    So I have a dilemma...I have a 3 1/2 month old Holland Lop (who is almost the size of a mini lop) and she is a horrific sprayer! It is VERY hard to have a "sprayer" who lives in your living room! She has always been an indoor bunny as she was born in my friend's classroom at school AND we live...

    Caramel

    May you rest in peace sweet girl! My 13 yr old rescued her from a bunny show several years ago! She just needed somebody to love her! Caramel was always skittish...but she loved Eliana and she trusted her! Bless your little soul!

    Frustrated with females spraying!!!

    I don't really have a question as much as I am just really frustrated! We now YET another female bunny that is a horrific sprayer!!! It is SO frustrating that we have had several male bunnies all but my daughter's show bunny was neutered...and NONE of them have EVER sprayed!!! That includes the...

    Drafts

    With the frigid temperatures that have taken over New England ( I am in NH)...I have question about drafts. Our house was built in the 1870's and we heat with wood! Because of our old house and these frigid temps...our house is draftier than normal. The bunnies are fine and safe when they are in...

    Training and treats...

    I have had several bunnies over the years...my new boy, Reeses, I got in September at 9 weeks old...Reeses is a blue fawn harlequin Holland lop. He is super quick, using a litter box nearly 100% of the time within less than 48 hours, and his antics as he frolicks around the house are hysterical...
