    Robbie not drinking :(

It was yellow and mushy. After we saw that there's been improvment in his health and behaviour.

    Robbie not drinking :(

Yesterday when we were cleaning the hutch, Robbie had thrown up a little bit. He seems to be much better, his eating is normal and he's drinking again. When we went on holiday, We'd put another new bottle next to old one. Could this have made him not want to drink??

    Now What?

Try getting hutches that are two stories high. They are super safe and the buns can go down into a run below so they have play room. It will save you hurting your back and having tobend down to a low hutch. Hope this helps :bunnydance:

My bunny pee's beside his litter box-how do I coax him to pee IN it?

My rabbit used to sleep in his litter box :P I just scooped up his poop and the paper he'd peed on and put it in his litter box. He's learned now. Make sure theres hay in the litter box too :)

    Rabbits and snow

Just make sure they aren't wet and that they have a good non frozen water supply. They should be fine like that :) My rabbit's hutch came with a peice of wood to "board up" the front through winter and I took that off only to feed him, check his water supply and clean the hutch. I put loads...

Prayers requested for Zeus - dental/abscess surgery on Wednesday

So glad Zeus is back to his normal feisty self. ;)

Fraggles peeled paint off walls and ate it!!!

So glad she's better ! If she considers trying to do this again (hope not!!) it's a good idea infesting in "lick strips". Buns HATE the taste but it's harmless and should stop her ever going near wallpaper paint again :) Hope this helps :):bunnydance:

Having trouble giving penicillin injections to bunny

I'd use a smaller needle and use the advice above. Everyone has given a really good contribution to helping Becky and Snuffers. Hope she gets better :)

    Darker coloured Poop

Great, that means he's fine and healthy! :) Your welcome Annette.

Thanks again for all the advice :) I'll keep you posted.

    EMERGENCY!!!

Tamsin, that's EXACTLY what I would have said. Good luck with the buns and I hope they get better!! :)
  12. WhatTheRAWR

    Darker coloured Poop

It's not dehydration and it's nothing to worry about! As long as the poops are still a good size and crumbly/fibrous, rather than small and rock hard, I wouldn't be overly concerned. It's quite common for poops to vary in colour depending on what the bunny concerned has eaten and poops don't...

    Robbie not drinking :(

Thanks so much everyone for the advice. Quick update; This morning Robbie has had at least one third of his waterbottle over night and he's eating as usual. He's still a little skittish around me and around his eyes still look an irritated shade of pink. Around his eyes he's lost some fur as...

    Rabbit tugging at scab?

Glad to hear she's all healed up :) If that ever happens again, I'd go online and order some bunny "lick strips". To bunnies they taste disgusting but they're harmless and it'll stop her licking at it. Hope this helps in the future :o)

    Problem with bunny's eye

Use a warm, moist cloth to keep her eyes clean and as stated above, use Vaseline. There is probably a tear duct blockage or a problem with her teeth could have caused it. Is she drooling and are her teeth over grown?? Good luck and I hope he gets better :) Hope this helps :)

    Balding and overgrown teeth

I groom and cut my rabbits fur regularly to make sure he's tidy and he has no bald patches and I give him peices of dried apple wood and wooden chewy toys to make sure his teeth don't overgrow. Hope this helps :)

    The Taffy GI Chronicles..

Have you taken her to a vet yet?? I've been reasearching what the problem could be and it could be a blockage. I'd take her to the vets ASAP for a check up. It could be an emergancy. Good Luck.

    The Taffy GI Chronicles..

Stop her eating romaine for a bit and look for any improvement. I'd take her to a vet for a check up and a better diagnosis. I hope I helped a little though :)
