    Fly Strike and GI Stasis

Thank you for the response, We just had him euthanized this morning. He was in a lot of pain and had completely given up. He was likely going to pass by tomorrow so we tried to help relieve some of that pain. He was on meticam and something to help his gut move.

    Fly Strike and GI Stasis

My rabbit had a problem a few months ago where he had a hard time with his back legs and keeping clean, so he took antibiotics for a possible neurological issue. Last friday, he saw the vet as a general check up and was fine. On tuesday night we noticed he couldn't use his back legs at all, and...

    Unresponsive 'sleep'

Hello, The other day I went to check on our rabbits, and one of them was sleeping, in the looking very dead sort of way. I stroked her some, but she didn't get up or anything, which was not too surprising, but because she wasn't responding I tried to wake her. I lifted her shoulder up a bit...

I can never find good examples of rabbit noises for feelings. Maybe I should record him for future reference... Digdug, I don't think Annon will ever be...

    Unhappy...?

Ok, so Annon, I was surprised to discover upon taking home, is quite vocal. Now I understand he is upset when he is grunting. He has, once that I've seen, even lightly grunted at Echo, his partner. Anyway, this is about he and I, though. When I pour more food into his dish, he grunts...

Female rips out males hair and sometimes eats it?

Thanks! I'll make sure to watch them. How long does deciding dominance last on average?

Female rips out males hair and sometimes eats it?

So, my fixed male rabbit, Annon sometimes humps our female, Echo, which is apparently a dominance thing... But then sometimes she will grab his fur and rip it out, occasionally eating it. He seems to sit around for a small amount of time, then tries hopping away from her when she does this...
