Styrofoam is most definately not safe for bunnies to eat. It is otherwise known as polystyrene and made from expanded and extruded plastic. polystyrene is a petrolium by-product, and contains many harmful chemicals. In short, your bunny would be eating a chemically infused derivative of oil.

I put it down to the fact that with new bunnies around, Noonoo just went mad with trying to ascert his dominance, so he even started fighting with Nala. :?

The vet didn't clean them, because the kind of cleaning that their ears would require also requires that they be anesthatised. It costs a lot and they both need it done, so we're saving up for it. Right now their on aural antibiotics indefinately to stop the infection from getting worse.

That's strange, because my bunnies never chew on plastic. :D They chew every piece of wood or paper they can get their teeth into - sometimes even leather - but never plastic.

Stories like that make me wish I was strong enough to walk up to that woman, pick her up by her ears and ask how SHE likes it! :mad: I get *SO* angry when I hear of people being so heartlessly cruel toward any animal, least of all a defenseless little bunny.

That's fantastic!! The best thing about having such a big cage is that you can decorate it and make it look so fun and interesting!
