She would've done more extensive testing, but she just wanted to get him on something so that he didn't decline more so since he had a relapse with the bactrim. But we shall see :bunnydance:

The vet said to call her again on Monday to let her know if he is doing better or worse, and then I'll ask her how long he should be on it for, because I too feel that he will need to be on it longer since he is so sick :D

Back from the vet. She seemed very knowledgable, and did a full exam on him (as the other vet should have). She said chest x-rays wouldn't do any good at this point, so he is on Batril .5 ml 2x a day, and she gave me some ointment for his runny eyes so a sore doesn't begin to form. She said it...

I definitely think he will need something stronger, it seems like the symptoms got worse again, so I'm very thankful that we are going to see the vet in a couple of hours :pray:

Bean always pees in the litterbox, sometimes he goes outside of it because he is not neutered, but on the other hand I do not find many outside of the cage when he is out. He usually waits to use his litter box.

Thanks Everyone. The crackles are not as bad as they were, but I haven't seen the improvement I would like. I feel very uncomfortable that he is making that noise at all.

Yes, we used to let him out for hours and he'd hide in a couple of his favorite hiding spots, but he never wanted to go back into his cage. Loved sitting by the coffee table.

This is bean's big brother (haha) Max - They like to play together sometimes, except Max gets very Hyper. Max always likes to visit Bean, and since Bean hasn't been feeling well Max will go over to his cage and visit sometimes. Sugar (the yellow lab and big sister) is sitting with Max waiting...

Bean is actually due for another vet visit tomorrow...but thanks again for the warm welcome, I will keep everyone updated on his progress! Everyone's bunny's are sooooo adorable..:biggrin2:
