Ok I know I have asked this question in a sense in the past.
Info on storm
The is a fixed Netherland Dwarf
Weight a little under 2 pounds
He eats
1/8 cup of pellets
1 to 2 cups of salad its not really measured
Un limited timothy hay I fill the thing 2 to 3 times a day.
He gets pellets in the morning
Salad at night
A few yogurt treats a day.
And toilet paper roll full of
brome hay
Botanical hay
every 3 days as a treat.
Ok
Now my question is storm was getting chubby so I started limiting his pellets as per many people suggestions.
But now I am worried again I know its normal to be able to feel his hip bones.
But now I am able to feel his back bone right in the middle of his back again before I could not feel it. Like its about 1/2 inch of bone I can feel. When he was chubby and had a dulap I could not feel it.
Is this normal is my main question?
And if not what can I do to help him put some weight on.
He eats hey like it going out of style.
His pellets he now eats as soon as I put them in his cage
His salad he eats on it for a while. About a hour before its done.
Thanks in advance
