Have any of you felt uncomfortable spaying a rabbit due to small size? I haven't had any behavioural problems with her whatsoever so I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons of possibly spaying her. She's about the size of a guinea pig.

I think it would be ok if you can find a really good vet to do the operation. One that has spayed lots of rabbits.

I haven't got a scale to weigh her but I bet she's a pound. No more than a pound in a half.

Some vets may refuse to spay smaller rabbits if they aren't very experienced or comfortable with the tiny fiddly bits, you just have to find one that is. My little netherland dwarf is spayed, and she's the size of an average guinea pig.

The vet in my city is "new". She graduated 4 or 5 years ago. I trust her to do my neuters but this rabbit is small... ack
