sore hocks?

My flemish Bruce when he was stretched out I noticed he has some calice on both hocks and its kinda red. Should I be concerned? he is not on a wire bottom cage, his cage has a plastic bottom and hes litterbox trained.

You want varied texture. Give him a towell in his cage maybe? Put some neosporin on yhrm if their open
Flemish are prone to sore hocks. Like walking barefoot on asphalt all day

My mini rex tends towards sore hocks too. I put little socks on him when he's running around the house because carpeting can be too rough. I have fleece blankets down in his room.
