Hello! Every now and then my rabbit Luna will scratch her ears specifically the right here I don’t see any wax in the ear and her other ear seems fine but I noticed that on her right ear due to scratching a lot she has a little bit of irritated skin. does anyone know of an ointment that can be applied safely?

With any skin issues my first appoach is a little baby oil, might help to calm an irritation.

A rabbit consistently scratching at their ear enough to cause skin irritation, can be a sign of a problem with the ear, like wax build up, ear mites, or an ear infection/abscess. If the problem persists, worsens, or you see any other symptoms develop, it would be advisable to have your rabbit checked by a knowledgeable rabbit vet.
