Well first off , Do You want Show rabbits or do You want Meat rabbits?
Show rabbits generally have Pedigrees,most Meat rabbits will not ,unless they are being sold tosomeone who wants them for Show , Or the rabbitcame into the Meat breeder with the Papers , as hashappened with some of mine. that is Not a normal proceedure. Even then it doesnt guarentee quality .
Quality Rabbits are easily recognized assoon as you see them , I would suggestgetting the book " Rabbits for Dummies " and"Raising Better Rabbits and Cavies" there is a lotof good information and can answer a lotof the questions you needanswered.
The easiest way I have found to read a Pedigree is to look atthe first box on the left hand side . That will beyour rabbit , the next Two entries will be theparents ,, the next 4 arethe grandparents , the next set will be the great grandparents . so on for Three generations .
