Safe hay???

So my only source for hay is PetSuperMarket (USA).....

Is this hay safe for a young rabbit?

Also when should I change to Timothy hay? How old should the rabbit be to eat Timothy hay?

It's just alfalfa hay? That's safe.

Timothy hay can be given any time, it's recommended for babies to have alfalfa because it contains extra protein.
At around 6 months is the usual time to switch.
You can slowly decrease alfalfa and increase timothy to transition them.

If your rabbit's pellets are alfalfa based then you don't really need alfalfa hay, too. Timothy or other grass hay is fine.

I'm also feeding my future rabbit vitamix food without the colored bits.. It's not the best and ill probably switch to oxbow after that bag.
