Questions about my neutered bun???

I just reached home with my bun from his surgery. He is pretty drugged up and is pretty inactive since i took him home about half an hour after he woke up to avoid being in the noisy area with dogs.
I would like to know if they feel like eating and drinking after this period, since my bun is just laying there as if he is in another world, or does it take a while for them to be able to get up and eat and drink?
Should I be concerned or if not, how long should I wait until i should be concerned?

The vet should have made sure he was eating before he left the clinic. He needs to continue eating even if it's only a little or he will need to be force fed.

I always took pellets and hay to my clinic for bunny surgeries so the vet could offer food as soon as the bunny woke up
