I own a 1 year old female un-spayed bun. She is very affectionate and loving, however, out of nowhere she has started humping and pooping, and now even peeing... on me... and near anything I've been wearing like my shoes. Is there any way to cure or reduce this behavior or do I absolutely need to get her spayed? :nurse:

You don't need to get her spayed, you could juts learn to live with her humping and peeing everywhere, lol.

I'm told most rabbits usually relax their hormonal behaviors at 1 year, but since yours just started at 1 year, maybe it will subside soon.

Some people choose to leave their buns untouched, but many will choose to have them spayed/neutered. It helps calming down their hormonal behaviour, along with less potty accidents everywhere!

In females, spaying also significantly reduces their chances of getting cancer.

You can read more here and here.
