My bunny, squirrel, was diagnosed back in May with a a head tilt. With medication it subsided but about 2 weeks ago she began falling over again. I took her back to vet and they found an ear infection in the opposite ear of the direction of her previous head tilt so they put her back on medication. A few days later I noticed it her falling more and it seemed as though her back legs were paralyzed so I took her back in. The vet said the infection was only going to be remedied with putting her under anesthesia and manually removing the build up. That was done and a culture was taken. I just got the results back and she has pseudomonas fluorescens which is resistant to all the antibiotics they tried on it besides an injectable antibiotic (timenten) which he said he had no experience with giving to rabbits and would have to do research on. Does anyone have experience with this bacteria, this is absolutely breaking mine and my son’s hearts
