Mini Rex Shedding A LOT

My 7 mos. old mini rex is shedding a lot and has been for the past 3 weeks. He used to barely shed at all, now every time I pet him, there’s floof flying everywhere. I also know mini rexes don’t shed so much and they’re coats don’t need much grooming like other breeds.

Should I be concerned?

Advice/tips on mini rex grooming/shedding appreciated.

Can rex fur be brushed with a regular shedding brush? Or is their fur too delicate?

My mini Rex is 11 months now and she also just had a big shedding phase. It has died down though, and nothing was wrong. Rabbits "molt" every three months, which makes sense because I had only owned her for 3 months at that point
