Hi,
We’ve just adopted a Holland lop Dow and there’s a few marks over her which I think were from a rabbit she was previously with. She’s young, I was told she was probably 14 weeks and I’ve just noticed a strange mark around her bottom (there’s two, one on each side of her genitals)
She doesn’t eat her cecotropes so I’ve been checking to make sure she’s clean as it’s really hot here at the moment and I’m worried about flies. I wouldn’t have noticed if not for looking as she doesn’t really seem to clean herself there.
I’ve attached pictures of one of the marks and also the main concern- I’m relatively inexperienced so apologies if this is a stupid question. It’s a bank holiday here and my vet is closed until Tuesday.
Thanks so much

Is it just a normal scent gland or could it be infected? Thanks so much
