Has anyone who breeds rabbits ever had success with an all veggie diet? I'm only wondering, because all the pet people seem to think it's just grand, but all of us breeders absolutley hate the idea (for various reason, but, I digress). Can anyone share actual experience about this?

Sorry if this is in the wrong area, It feels like the right place to ask for an experienced opinion though.

I dont know anyone who does but it can be done as long as they get plenty of hay I think. I like to feed my brood does veg in the morning with a small amount of pellets in the evening that has dried grass through it and hay all the time they love it but I guess everyones different. One thing I hear a lot of the older breeders saying is that they never had half the problems in teh old days when they did get scraps as they do now!!
