Do you have access to wood stove pellets in Ireland? A lot of people use that for their bun's litter and it works really well. It's kiln dried pine pellets (since it's kiln dried the harmful oils aren't an issue.)

I have never seen them here. I don't think people use those wood pellet stoves it's usually open fires or central heating. They sell some of those pellets in the pet shops. They are rather dear and I was a bit worried that they moght be similarily dangerous as soft wood chips. I live the pressed hay pellets but they are rediculously expensive and I have to import them from the UK. At least as of today my number of rabbits has halfed and I have only five (!) rabbits. So the costs of bedding will hopefully go down. Have been driven insane with cleaning hutches and the bad weather.
