We're hoping for many more birthdays with Hazel, too.
Bentley: yes, she is pretty big for a cottontail. Apparently it's not uncommon for them to grow bigger when they are fed a richer diet (especially richer in protein) than they would get in the wild. Her vet wants her to loose some weight though, she got a bit too many goodies and fruit
We've been trying ever since to get and keep the weight off, but it's slow going.
