I have the same problem completley. And thetowel thing never works! Luckily my local pet store cuts nails for £2.Maybe check if anywhere you know does this?

I always make my hubby help me. One ofus holds the bun while the other cuts. It's the leaststressful and safest way for the buns that I've found so far.Any chance you have a friend that could help you?

Otherwise the towel trick is a good idea. You have to wrap them up well. I do that to my cats.;)
