I just brought home a new rabbit a few hours ago and I've realized he only ate his pellets and hay but not his water(note he is still young so he cannot have veggies). Is it normal? It's only been a few hours but I'm just slightly worried. Should I wait until the next morning to see if he has consumed any water? I was thinking he might be stressed because of the new environment:confused:.

They may behave differently when first brought home. Be sure the bowl (or bottle) is easily accessible. All rabbits can drink from a bowl, but not all get the hang of bottles (no pun intended). Just be sure that the bowl isn't too high if it is one of those that attaches to the cage wall. If it is a bottle, be sure it isn't too high or too low.

Hello!
It was really just me over worrying. I placed the water bowl in a spot closer to his hidey house and he drank the water :)
