Bring my bunny home

Hi
I have never owned a rabbit before. im getting her tomorrow and have everything ready except for a couple thing I'm getting tomorrow . I was wondering when she comes home should I just leave her in her cage all day for her to settle in or can I let her out for floor time? I'd hate to keep her in her cage all day as it's not that big

I would suggest just leaving her, if you have a pen, that will work, but she should be confined. She will need time to adjust and get used to things. A smaller space can be better to start with, and you can expand the space as she gets used to you.

I suggest leaving her alone in the cage for the first 48 hours. You might want to follow the suggestions at the bottom of this page.
