Hi I had found that my grandparents rabbit had had babies again (she currently has ones that are about 1-2 months old) but 3 were dead and one off to the side alive. I took him home and started feeding him di vetalac and he has been doing well. He just made it through his 3rd night so I was really happy. However now when I feed him he is being a bit fussy and doesn’t want to drink his milk and sometimes his mouth will chatter. Also last night and this morning when I went to stimulate him to wee/poo he had done nothing. I really don’t want him to die. I am not sure how old he is either this is a picture of him. 23F6F458-F5F0-43CE-9A88-E09B99844432.jpegA

There's a really good chance he's developed aspiration pneumonia. It's a common risk when trying to hand feed. If this has occurred, the kit is unlikely to survive. You could try getting it treated with antibiotics at the vet, but it's chances are slim. You would need to get it to the vet right away and treatment started immediately. It may even need to be hospitalized with oxygen and nebulization.

If you're in Melbourne Australia, the Melbourne Rabbit clinic is probably your best bet.

He is still strong and jumpy and is weeing/pooing small yellow do you know what that means. Is it related?

I'm so sorry. Newborn rabbits are such fragile little things. Hand raising can be very difficult to do successfully.
