Thanks for the comments. She's actually smallish/average size. I think it's my hands that make her look larger (i have tiny hands). Her ears are about 3in. I'm learning to pose correctly. Did I do an okay job?

My advice: Try to buy mini rex that are older than 8 weeks to get a better idea on type and fur. :)

I just had a first timer mini rex doe deliver on day 35-36. Scared the crap out of me! Everything was fine though. But, I agree that with her history, I'd take your doe to a vet if you're sure on your dates. Good luck.

Good luck! I just had my first experience with a first time doe. It went well. Mine built her nest in the nestbox and is doing wonderfully caring for the babies. The only thing is she took a little bit longer to feed the babies the first time. It had been near 24 hrs and they were looking...

i have 4 cats (adding a 5th this sat), a puppy..german shepherd who is shedding his puppy fur out in favor of his adult coat... and 8 rabbits inside. (rabbits temporarily inside while bunny barn plans are being made) So, I certainly know what you mean about fur. I sweep and vacuum probably 3+...

I would block the sides now. My current kits are only 10 days old and two managed to get out last night (NIC cage). Thankfully I got to them in time and they are just fine. But, they certainly can come out before 3-4 weeks! Learn from my mistake. :)

I got a chance to take some pictures of my 4 day old litter! In this litter I got 5 chocolates (1 choco kit has a lighter belly..but barely..wonder what he'll turn out to be..) and 1 white kit. Enjoy! Thanks for looking!!! :biggrin:

Well, i'm guessing i was wrong on seeing more baby movement in her. No more babies. (thankfully..she had a perfect litter..dont want to change that). The little white one is certainly white...his peach fuzz is coming in and is all white. :)

I still see movement inside of her. So, we're just watching her. Other than obvious baby movements inside of her, everything is looking good and normal with her. And her babies in the nestbox all looked nice and plump this morning!

Yea I took another look at her and she most definitely still has babies inside moving around. I guess I'll be expecting more babies tonight or tomorrow! yikes.

Alright! Here's some babies! BTW, we bred her (chocolate) to my buck (lilac). Evans software gave us an 8 % chance for BEW's. I thought that was odd. But, we have 1 white baby!
