    Seasonal decorative corn = snacks?

Sometimes I'll get some dried corn on the cob for my buns and give them a couple kernels now and then for a treat which they adore. Around this time of year there is the decorative, untreated, Indian corn (the large kind) that is super cheep. Is this corn okay for buns to nom on?

    Fleas

Lady in the apartment next door has a dog with fleas and I happened to notice one here this morning, caught a few in a flea trap while I was at work so I have little doubt that they have crossed over to my poor buns by now, though I haven't seen any on either of them yet. I sifted through some...

    Hypoallergenic breeds?

I'm alergic to a lot of furry animals, rabbits too apparently </3, though it's something I'm going to buck up and take cause I love my buns. I know there are hypoallergenic breeds of dogs, and even some cats, but are there hypoallergenic breeds of rabbits?

    Spaying questions

So my buns had their first visit to the vet today, Sable came in at 2.1kg, Rice at 2.12kg, and their much needed nail trim was a success (though they are very pissed off with me right now). I do want to get them spay and asked for an estimate and this is the list they printed me: IV fluids...

    Leafy eatables and stick snacks

I know leafy greens are fantastic for buns, save iceberg, but what about leafy purples and cabbage? I also have some questions about other veggies such as eggplant, zucchini, asparagus, cauliflower, chives, peas (in the pod), potatos (cooked or raw), root vegetables like turnip or parsnips...

    Keeping their cool

Since I'm a person of very limited, and tight, financial means I need to look ahead and budget, budget, budget. Looking ahead to summer I'm hunting for the best ways to keep my rabbits cool in all the heat and humidity. My apartment is small, with matching windows, and lacking air conditioning...

    Bunny Discipline?

Sable has a very aggressive, bossy and generally unwanted behavior at times. Such as shaking the cage when it's not time to be let out for play time, such as the middle of the night, or being too aggressive during play. Since I have a very small apartment, and don't want her to associate her...

    False pregnancy behaviour. . .

Neither of my buns are fixed and they are both female, yet twice now, one of my buns has acted pregnant with full on nest building and even fur plucking on the last two days of the event. All in all the behavior lasts roughly a week from start to finish. I know they began humping as a dominance...

New to the Yin & Yang of bunnydom

Hi, I'm a first time rabbit owner, six months in, I've had dogs and guinepigs in my youth so I thought rabbits would be a nice energetic change... Energetic was apparently an understatement as, oh boy, these little destructive fluff balls have kept me on my toes. From turning pillows into...
