Paul, I don't know about lionheads specifically, but bunnies are native to orange county and are everywhere, consequently, so are coyotes. It is most likely not a lost pet. However, I think that is a great point that you brought up.

Bijoux really seemed to enjoy being with me and ever since his neuter (about 3 weeks ago) he doesn't seem to come to me, on his own,unless he wants food. Is this normal? What should I be doing to strengthen the bond again? Thanks

Bijoux is very careful about how much he eats. He does have a sensitive tummy and it doesn't take much veggies or fruits to cause runny poos. He's pretty good about limiting his intake, even if he really likes whatever it is.
