    Regaining bunnies trust

Today Bambam still looks okay, she's running around in the run outside with Pebbles, so thankfully nothing seems broken, she's eating and drinking okay too. Will spend a few hours with them this afternoon and let you know my progress. xx

    Regaining bunnies trust

We did check her over whilst she was on the table, we checked her ribs, back and front legs, made sure her spine was okay, she is hopping around okay and has even resumed picking on the little'uns. Will keep an eye on her and if there are any signs of distress take her to the vet. We are...

    Regaining bunnies trust

Guys, i am looking for some advice on handling extremely timid bunnies. As you may or may not know, we have had Pebbles and Bambam since february. We've never had bunnies before so I know we have made many mistakes in handling them, homing them, being noisy around them etc, now they are really...

    Rabbit safe houseplants

I had a similar problem recently when i cam home with a Yukka plant and another one (that I can't pronounce) recently. After showing great skill Daphne jumped up onto the table and scruff jumped INTO the yukka bowl, and they both started munching away. needless to say that both plants and...

    First lick

When Scruff did it it was on my cheek, my chin, my nose and my hand. He didn't stop, but since then nothing. I have given him his favourite treats, scratched his head for ages, and nothing. :(

That site is fab. I especially love the bunny mazes. My critters would love those toys. I just have to find a supplier in europe. :bunnydance::dancingorig:

    First lick

Okay, I now feel a little disappointed as since that day, my little boy hasn't given me any kisses. is this normal?? Do they show affection all the time, or is it once in a blue moon?

    First lick

I was jumping up and down although I was trying not to gloat too much as my husband felt a bit put out, bearing in mind that Scruff is kinda his bunny, but as I said, he is obviously and affectionate bun and will take to him when he is spending as much time with them as I am. I had Daphne on...

    First lick

I have had rabbits for a sum total of 8 months. We made some fundamental mistakes with the first two i.e. giving them too much room to run in the first instance, so they really didn't get to be around us and didn't get used to us. Then we got the second two, and although we still love Pebbles...

    Hello hello

Thanks guys. Scruff is my husbands choice of name. He is such an Oliver Twist type bunny, all raggedy and since we bought him home he HAS NOT STOPPED EATING lol. So he is kinda my husbands favorite because he 'saved' him :D. Daphne on the other hand is my girl, she is SO adorable, she just sits...

    Hello hello

So today we were out buying a lawn mower when we popped into the pet shp here in Germany to buy a new hutch for Pebbles and Bambam. We decided that their playroom in the basement was getting far too cold with the winter coming so wanted a house for the hallway. So there we were in the pet...

Here she is with her jumper on. She's not a happy bunny, but at least it stops her picking her stitches, and I think she looks nice and cosy. xxx

    Poor Bambam =:(

Update - So I took little Bambam for a check up this evening, and as the doctor gave her her painkiller and anticeptic injections, she sat there like a brave girl. I''ve been given some food, anibiotics, and a collar for her despite the fact that I hadnt seen her bite her stitches. However all...

    Poor Bambam =:(

Well the vet finally called at about 10.30pm and we went to pick Bambam up. She was all groggy, and tried to stand but kept falling. Finally she gave up and went to sleep, we kept her in the carry case by the side of the bed, and I kept checking she was okay. I was terrified that she would...
