New bunnies, what breed and colors?

The one you thought was chinchilla i'm pretty sure is a blue chinchilla and the other looks like a sooty fawn to me. EDIT: Actually could be a sable chinchilla but they usually look more chocolate than blue. It's a bit hard to tell from pictures.

Getting a bun to gain weight

For putting weight back on my rabbits I use 1/3 Cup oats 1 Tbsp Sunflower seeds a sprinkle of something else yummy (alternated every day) to keep them interested :D in addition to their normal food. I find this to be quite effective even with my fussiest eaters.

    3 Bunnies + 2 bunnies + 1 bunny= Fiance asking for divorce =P

She looks rex to me, her size overall (excluding the big belly though :)) looks to big to be mini, and don't you just love those big ears? :D. She is also a Broken Opal if you would like to know her colouring! What a gorgeous little bun you have found :DI know I couldn't give her away!

I have had this situation before, When (eventually) my neighbours rang the cops to say I stole their rabbit (and to be honest anyone with a heart would have) I lied and told them Ifound him on my property and didn't know who he belonged to! Normally I don't like to lie but this poor little man...

    What Colour is this?

Just to butt in (and you may not be interested) but the BRC (British Rabbit Council) actually state Butterfly and Broken as 2 different patterns :D Technically in the UK (or here in Aus) he would be a Broken Sooty Fawn

    Alternative to Bedding

I have found a similar approach to yours very sucessful but i add a thin layer of kitty litter to the bottom of the pan and have the wire raised high enough that little mouths can't get to it :Dthis keeps the odour down better and cuts my bedding bill in half (which is a very good thing with the...

    What breed is Bunbuns?

Both those are correct but a point they don't make clear, and thuscreating the myth,is that those types of rabbits have had centuries to make those changes to their body structure whereas our domestic rabbit has been carefully bred to conform to a standard and although their is always your...
