What are your indoor hay rack solutions to keep hay in the cage?

I currently have a hay feeder/food dish combo I bought from PetSmart years ago for starters. However the back of the hay feeder portion is not tall enough and I find much of the hay falls out the cage and get dragged all around my house. My vacuum cleaner and feet would appreciate some relief...

    Rabbit Safe Cleaning Products?

Hello, I'm wondering if there are any rabbit safe deodorizers and cage cleaning products that work well for you. I am specifically looking for one deodorizer (something along the lines of Febreze thats not harmful to their lungs) and one cage cleaner for the litter box. Thanks! :bunny19

    Territorial and Cage Setup Question!

Awesome, thank you! There are so many different "ideas" out there on whats best, I was just curious to see if there was something that works better for others out there, and what I could do for him right away to help get him situated. Ideally, I would like to leave him out most of the day like I...

    Territorial and Cage Setup Question!

Okay thanks for the advice. I had to try a bunch of different cage configurations with my last bunny to find what worked best for her. My next move was taking out the wire bottom which did not work well for my last bun. On the topic of too much space too soon. I have been looking at little...

    Territorial and Cage Setup Question!

I've had my new bunny now for about a week. He's been peeing on the floor and on our couch quite a bit. There is one spot in particular that he likes to mark, so I tried putting down a litter box in that corner. Unfortunately, he will pee right next to it and hop in there and dig around like...

    Is this an ear infection?

They'll likely do penicillin injections every other day and prescribe 2 oral medications. Have you noticed any ear itching?

    Is this an ear infection?

Get her to a vet right away, ear infections left untreated can cause permanent damage and death.

    Strange behavior

Kenna219, from what I've read it's fine for them to eat toilet paper rolls, one of my old buns loved munching on them. I primarily used it to keep her teeth down, since she refused to eat much hay.

    Depressed bunny?

I do hope you brought her to the vet. I had one bun that despite being severely ill she would not stop eating. She wanted food 24/7 and we gave it to her because we knew she wouldn't be with us much longer. Her issues had nothing to do with what you're describing so don't worry. But on rare...

Minnesota Question for Rabbit Owners! Where do you shop?

I live closer to the cities and was wondering where everyone likes to buy their supplies? Places like PetSmart, PetCo, and Chuck and Dons are so limited. Do you buy online, know of any hobby shops, or stick to the regular places listed above?

Having Fun Determining What Breed or Mix My Bun Could Be! :)

Thanks for your input! I've gone through several "what breed is your rabbit?" sites including the one on this site. None of them seem to come up with much. He's probably just a super mixed breed. I'll go through the help forum on here one more time and post the results.

Previously Litter Trained Bunny Starts Territorial Marking...?

I own a 1 year old female un-spayed bun. She is very affectionate and loving, however, out of nowhere she has started humping and pooping, and now even peeing... on me... and near anything I've been wearing like my shoes. Is there any way to cure or reduce this behavior or do I absolutely need...

Rabbit absolutely refuses to eat Hay!!!

Thanks for the help! As of right now I'm giving her Timothy Hay. I just moved her hay next to her litter box to see if that does anything as I've heard they like to eat hay while doing their business. I also messaged the previous owner to see what hay she was giving her... she said she hasn't...

Rabbit absolutely refuses to eat Hay!!!

The previous owner wasn't even feeding her hay and as a result she won't eat it! I've tried leaving only hay in her cage, I've mixed it with her food, and now I'm looking for chewing alternatives. It's easy to find fibrous foods to give her in place of the hay's fiber, but what about wearing...
