    What breed is my rabbit?

I've had lionhead babies and they were never that fluffy, but it looks like a Jersery Wooly mixed with a Lionhead to me.

Black Lab Attack, RIP to four lovely bun buns

On March 23rd 2014, two black labs attacked and killed over half of my rabbitry, leaving me with 3 of my 8 rabbits. My poor bunnies were strewn across the yard and the cages completely destroyed. They were thrown around like ragdolls and two had gotten a leg ripped off. I hope the one that there...

    Neutering???

Okay, see, Caramel, the one I'm looking at possibly bringing in the house, is fairly clean as in his cage he doesn't even spray and tends to use only use the litter box even though he isn't neutered and is really friendly. I usually let him roam around my yard once a week or so and is great...

    Neutering???

Well, I have a question, all of my rabbits are outside rabbits and I keep them in individual cages, and I know there are a lot of people out there against that, but anyways, so, I was wondering what are the benefits of neutering a rabbit if they are an outside rabbit and don't interact with any...

    Five New Baby Buns!

Yeah, I've had that problem, but now most of my rabbits are very friendly and you can basically do anything you want with them (with consideration). I only have problems with one rabbit.

    Caramel<3

Caramel is my adorable Holland Lop. He is "in tact" so to speak as I do breed him with my females. I've had him since the end of August 2012. I bought him from our country fair when I instantly fell in love with him. I am currently training him to walk on a leash and harness and am hoping that I...

    Is this safe for bunnies??

So if it's basically a leaf off of a corn stalk he should be fine, I actually tend to give my rabbits them as a treat sometimes during the fall, they love them and I haven't had a problem with it, I am pretty sure it is just like grass of dandelion leaves to them, just not as "nutritious"...

Questions about handling, nail trimming, etc.

I have nine full grown rabbits that tolerate handling pretty well, including my baby Caramel. It usually depends on the breeder that you get them from for handling, I haven't had experience with Tans because we don't usually see them around here. I have gotten all of my rabbits from breeders...

    Five New Baby Buns!

Ok, I'll try my best, I don't have a camera very often so I'll try! And thanks for the advice! Like I said, my mom thinks your supposed to treat them like kittens... she just doesn't understand that kits and kittens are two different things (not necessarily) Rabbits are different than cats...

    Five New Baby Buns!

Ok, Thanks, the moms don't seem to over protective, I was just wondering because my mom told me I shouldn't touch them until they are two weeks and that seemed like a long time because they grow pretty fast. I think she was thinking that because of cats...

Does New Bunny Have a Problem? (Want to know before I bring her to the vet)

Okay, and thank you! You really helped, I have to go to the feed mill soon and also to our local tractor supply store sometime soon anyways as I am almost out of food, I haven't noticed any parasite signs yet so I'm crossing my fingers on that one, and I don't have any grass around as of right...

    Nesting Box Suggestions?

I have considered that, which I am planning on making some in the near future, and thanks for the idea of the plastic tubes... do you know if like a liter bottle with the top cut off would work? And thanks for answering!

Does New Bunny Have a Problem? (Want to know before I bring her to the vet)

Ok, thanks, and yes she is eating (but very little) and pooping, it's just that she has like a mushy diarrhia, which is hard to monitor because of the cages that we have, its a group of eight cages all put together on a stand and all the waste goes underneath the cages into bins which I have to...

    Nesting Box Suggestions?

I need some suggestions of what to use for a nesting box since I only have one metal one that is in use right now and my sister thought it would be cool to let all my rabbits run around the yard, which now I have several rabbits that are going to have kits, and no nesting box to give them. Yes...
