The manufacturer does have a website. It doesn't say whether or not it's kiln dried - but you could email and ask. Personally, I'd have no problem using it.

I'd say you're fine. My parents have rabbits that live outside year round and here the temps can drop into the teens in the winter and can rise to over 100 in the summer. In the winter they are protected from the wind, in the summer, they get frozen water bottles.

Goofball would rather eat the box than what's inside. Silly rabbit, Cherrios are yummy!

Personally, I'd never keep a rabbit like this. I mean, now that he's 5, the neuter probably isn't going to change things. You shouldn't have to risk injury every time you interact with your pet, I honestly think it's a little crazy.

My rabbit loves pine cones! I collect them from our yard and let them sit on the porch in the sun until they're totally dried out. You can also do this in a low oven (google drying pine cones in oven and you'll find directions). Then I give them to him, no other treatment needed! =)
