This thread has brought tears to my eyes, twice. I hope Felix pulls through.

It may have affected me a lot because I have been preparing for a weekto pick up a new Netherland named Clover. I pick her up tomorrow.

God Bless.

He He ! Seriously ... I'm sat heregrinning like a loony !! I know he has a long way to go, butat least I know that he's getting the fluid and nourishment he needs atthe vets, and they're very homely and caring so I know he's in the bestplace ! (Though I feel guilty at not being with himas he usually sulks madly when we leave him with my Mum when we go onholiday!)

I really cant thank you all enough ... your support has encouraged meto wipe away the many tears and not despair. (well, not much!)

When he comes home he's going to be the most spoiled rabbit ever!! (Not that he wasnt heading that wayanyways!) I wont however, be letting him run freelyin the garden without my supervision anymore ...

It was heartbreaking to see him sat still, looking utterly bewilderedat what was going on. He's usually such a little menace!!!

With any luck .. it wont be long before he's sat in his favourite place by the fire !

Hi Saffy welcome to the forum , so sorry thelittle guy isnt well , the symptoms your describing sound a lot likewhen my dingy kitten ate Laurel leaves , you may not have seen him doit and he may never have before but by the sounds of the symptoms itsounds like he may have gotten a nip of it luckly not enough to makehim pass , All Laurel is poison to animals and humans alike , is itpossable to get that plant out of your garden or maybe even fence itoff where it cant happen again
good luck keep us posted and send pics we love seeing bunnies lol

Welcome to the forum Saffy,

I too have a Netherland Dwarf, Pebblesis 8 months old, and pretty much a house bunny.

What a cute picture of Felix. Glad to hear that he isrecovering. Probably the staff at the vets can't keep theirhands off Felix, as they pamper him. Can't wait to hear whenhe gets home.

Keep on spoiling Felix, and what a lucky bunny to have afavorite place by the fire.

Rainbows! :)

If he isn't eating when he comes home, I have hadluck forcing parsley. Youjust put the stem in theirmouth and gently push. They have no choice but toeat. Don't force too fast. It was far easier thatthe food with a syringe. Water with the syringe is nothard. They really perk up when the vets give them IV offluids.

Just now seeingthis post. So sorry you joined us underthese circumstancesbut I must say it sounds as though you are most fortunate to have founda great vet. It seems many vets don't give it that extra effort withbunnies. I will keep your little man in my prayers. Please keep usupdated.
