Help! Behavioral problems after neuter and spay!!! (Doe= Agressive and Buck=Still wants to mount!)

Also, do you think that Leona got mean and aggressive because 1) she had been caged alone for one week; or 2) she had a traumatic experience in the vet? A rabbit that I had years ago changed into a nervous and hateful rabbit after having flow in an airplane and transported to my aunt's place...

Help! Behavioral problems after neuter and spay!!! (Doe= Agressive and Buck=Still wants to mount!)

Another question for future is whether I should cage a newly spayed girl with her cage mates after the surgery to avoid their being strange to one another? My girls' hutch is a double deck hutch and has lots of space for three girls.

Help! Behavioral problems after neuter and spay!!! (Doe= Agressive and Buck=Still wants to mount!)

Ok. Thanks. I will wait and see. Waiting is not a problem, as far as the buck is concerned. He has always been caged alone and will remain that way for months until he changes and can be worked on getting a hutchmate. But, have you heard about does becoming mean to others after spaying? That's a...

Help! Behavioral problems after neuter and spay!!! (Doe= Agressive and Buck=Still wants to mount!)

    2) The 2 yr old-small lionhead buck always has been too energetic, interested in mounting does, and out of control. So, I got him neutered a week ago, so that he would calm down and be able to play with other bunnies. After recovering from the surgery, he is still the same. He runs after...

Behavioral problems after neuter and spay??? Help.

I have seven pet rabbits: angora rabbits, lionheads, and a BEW small rabbit. They are three bucks and four does. Two of my does had already been spayed before I adopted them. About a week ago, I got one of my bucks and one doe fixed. Everything looks fine except... 1) The 2 yr old doe has...

    Help! Urinary Problem!!!

My 4 year old angora bunny, Fabrizio, was originally from upper Maryland. I rescued him one day before he was to be sold in a meat market. Since May or June, I noticed that he stinks like pee and his rear is a bit dirtier than before. Since last week, he wets himself so bad...

Any boe needs to be adopted around MD?

I mean "DOE", sorry. If there is a doe that needs to be adopted in Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia, let me know. If you can bring her to me, the doe can came from anywhere, actually. If she is spayed and litter trained, it would be great, but it's not necessary. I would like toprioritize...

Well, I am planning to neuter my 3 year old angorra buck, Frabricio. He is soooo sweet, and we got along at first sight. He never try to run away from me, and he is just so calm. I don't want him to be aggressive like your niece's bunny. Anyway, how old was him? Jut curious. Do you know what is...

Need to help to find rescue

Considering how much it might cost you to be forced to relocate, the surrender fee for all those rabbits would be something that would need to be tolerated, I think... It is like a price of a new furniture set. Can you get aloan or some sort, if you don't have savings? This is not unusual...

    Can I take her outside?

So, I can protect her from traffic or dogs, but can she be walking outside or parks safely? I mean bacteria, germs, etc.? What do you think about rabbit leash? I am great at holding or catching any small animals since I was 4 years old, by the way. And my girl is super calm and tame...

    Must I spay my girl?

So, I've read about the chance of bunny girls getting overy cancer at 85%, if not spayed. Is it true? My bunny is 5 month-old and very tame, although I bought her the day before yesterday. I can gloom her for an hour or more, without her moving at all. She is just so calm. I feel sorry for her...
