We tried steaming him but the poor little guy was mouth breathing, we rushed him to an emergency vet. And shortly after he was put to sleep.
He was a fantastic buns, he didn't chew (well relatively speaking), he never in his life peed outside his box, (he was fixed that helps) he was never...
Good Sir, has been to the vet twice in the past month he has an infection in his teeth, and they are ingrown (well not anymore they were clipped again on Friday) they gave us new medication to try but said that is probably his last chance (we already did one round of antibiotics with no luck)...
Nice! When we got good Sir fixed a few years back I remember it being only around like 110 with everything included that seems pretty reasonable so we will go back there...
hmm I am not sure I have never had a buns that bites. They always trance, thats how I saw good sirs today. I just got lazy I have never owned a bunny with teeth issues and the crazy thing is I own guinea pigs and ALWAYS check their teeth... Sigh. Poor Buns...
I wanted to remind everyone to check those teeth on their bunnies TODAY!
Good Sir Buns, has always had a healthy appetite access to fresh veggies hay and timothy pellets, his coat looks nice I check his eyes and ears but never think to check his teeth.
Then by chance today I checked them...

I have a lionhead and he just has the most hilarious personality. His name was supposed to be maximus but he has this strange little extremely pretentious attitude. A friend came over and started calling him good sir buns and it stuck now goodsir as we call him lives up to that name to this day...
just an update he really was just really enjoying the cuddles. I tried it again today. It took a little longer but low and and behold he began clicking away
I suppose its also strange since he never appeared to have much interest in us. Maybe he needs more one on one. I think I have been favouring the other bun
well thats what I was thinking was strange too. He didnt stop clicking when I stopped petting but he did seem to stop when he was placed on the floor and ran over to his food. I am probably just over reacting
.... My past 2 rabbits never clicked their teeth so its just kind of strange...
